Dave Mustaine and Vinnie Moore head a mindblowing line-up at this year's GuitarFest at Birmingham's NEC.

Vinnie will be performing at this year's UK GuitarFest, Birmingham's NEC on Friday 7th November
As well as Vinnie Moore, huge UK rock acts Thunder and The Quireboys will also be performing, as well as renowned session guitarist Søren Anderson. Clinic Review - Friday June 20th 2008 - Vinnie Moore Guitar Clinic in Germany
This has been translated from German to English through Babel
Vinnie started with 3 of song with those was ausführlichst soliert. The sound was class and one got the mouth no longer too with the fireworks at notes, the Vinnie of moorlands there toward public lap! Madly that one could see times such a guitarist from 2m distance! The Workshop was made due to Vinnie's co-operation with DEAN Guitars, in order to present its Signature guitar. Vinnie is an absolute full blood guitarist and explained, why he developed one with DEAN particularly on his desires cut guitar, which determines each guitarist would do, if that were so simply possible times. The guitar is one for it optimized Strat with an incredible neck, which is not painted, very well processed jumbo jet federations and somewhat larger Cutaways facilitates in high situations very fast to play. The Bridge Pickup developed by Vinnie and Dean (called Shredhead) has a somewhat higher output than a standard PAF, however not as much that one gets a vermatschten sound, as with many Metal Pickups. At the neck two DiMarzio Pickups are used. There is clay/tone and a volume automatic controller, with which Vinnie works extremely actively. It steers thereby the distortion of the ENGL preliminary stage, which gives really very different sounds. The guitar comes into a few weeks on the market and represents a genuine Custom shopproduct, from which it will give however also variants from Korea and Japan at favourable prices. Finally the Engl Special edition Head E-670 is to be mentioned, all this which by Vinnie comes to a really very characteristic sound very warm from my personal view converts! Around the sound something to vary used Vinnie the still following devices: T-Rex Replica Delay |

Originally this webpage was created as a link from UFO's Misty Green and Blue website to keep everyone updated on
Vinnie Moore's current solo work. As well as this I also wanted to create a retrospective prior to VM joining UFO in 2003.
This has, over the past year, developed into more than a page and is now a Vinnie Moore website and I felt the need
to update the navigation by creating 'Quick Links'. This involved new, 'Banner' links being created - lots of
Photoshop work (what fun) - as well as a new layout at the top of the page.
I will be expanding this over the next week or so but hopefully this helps to quickly link to various sections
within the VM environment and back into the 'Misty Green and Blue' pages. No longer will it be necessary to
trawl down this webpage trying to find 'Vinnie plays Hendrix in Italy' for example. Just click on the
Jimmy Hendrix Festival button above. Or if you want to remind yourself about the 2005 USA tour...

DESTRUCTION album, D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. More details will be revealed soon.
D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. is scheduled for release August 29th through AFM Records.

Former MEGADETH guitarist Glen Drover will join forces this summer with ADAGIO's Stéphan Forté to record an instrumental album. The CD will contain a total of 10 songs, featuring a different "special guest" guitarist for each song. Songwriting and recording will commence shortly.
