Issue 6 NOW available

Here at the UFO Appreciation Society we've been scribbling away to hopefully bring you the best issue yet.

Bigger than ever, this issue has a massive forty pages, is still A4 in size, and is printed on high quality 115 gram glossy paper.

Inside you'll find all our regular features and detailed articles. We have a fans eye look at UFO's European/UK tour

from earlier in the year, as well as MGAB's travels to catch the band on mainland Europe and the UK.

There is a look at the recent MSG tour and their involvement on the G3 shows with Joe Satriani.

On the exclusive scene we have a few scoops to put your way.

There is a Phil Mogg interview done exclusively for the magazine just after the UK tour ended.

We also managed to finally track down Bernie Marsden and ask about his days in the band.

There's a few surprises in store as Bernie can finally confirm the thoughts of MGAB, that he did actually go

into the studio with UFO and record some demo's.

Elsewhere we've managed to unearth UFO's first ever television broadcast for the BBC on a programme called Disco 2.

This dates back to October 1970, making it by far and away the earliest known recording of the band. There's

a look at a pre-UFO band called The Boyfriends that feature two future members of the band.We take a detailed look at

the 'Give Her The Gun' single, and find out from Derek Lawrence when and where it was recorded.

There is a detailed singles discography from Australia, a look at all the recent CD releases. Included in the CD reviews

are some prime new bootlegs to come mainly out of Japan and Germany, some dating to 1977, 1980 and of

course the recent Walk on Water tour, the best probably being a mixing desk tape from Vienna.

We return our letters/questions pages this time, and a bigger than ever classified section including pen-pals and contacts.

Also, we have a guided tour of the internet and the main UFO sites. If this isn't enough, we're

running another competition as well as all the news surrounding Michael Schenkers leaving the group mid-set in Japan,

and we can exclusively reveal the name of the new guitarist Mogg, Way and Raymond are currently working with.

Paul Raymond Project is up and running again, and this time it sounds much more rock than blues, so that's one to look

forward to. I could go on

but...
