Music: Record attendance all'Afraka 'Rock Festival On the notes of "Little Wing" by Jimi Hendrix, immortal song performed by a trio of guitar hero than as Uli Jon Roth (Scorpions), Vinnie Moore (UFO), Kee Marcello (Europe) in front of more than two thousand people who took part in Villa Pineta Comunale di Afragola, dropped the other night the curtain on the fifteenth edition dell'Afrakà Rock Festival. Kermesse now historic meeting point for fans of the genre from many regions of southern Italy, which this year has lauded Woodstock, in the forty years of its implementation, with the vision - first of all live - the historical film by Michael Wadleigh (Oscar 1971), commented by a journalist and music critic Carmine Aymon and the general area of Demetrio Stratos with the presentation of the book by Antonio Oleari "revolution of joy and a voice." The Afrakà Rock Festival this year reported a record attendance with nearly 12mila people who took part in six days to attend a program of great quality: it was started July 21 with the rock made in Naples by Edoardo Bennato and was continued during the week with former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett Band, the Hot Tuna with former Jefferson Airplane Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, Enzo Gragnaniello, Hosanna with David Jackson, Gianni Leone and Sophy Baccini, the singer of Iron Maiden Blaze Bailey, then the South Napolitain Express Franco del Prete of Showmen, I Demonilla the Savior From Anger testimonial of the youth groups of the "Rockontest" (won by Hidronika). |
