Vinnie Moore joins on guitars - OFFICIAL NEWS - July 18th 2003
"Guitarist extraordinaire Vinnie Moore is strongly rumored to have joined UFO as the replacement for Michael Schenker.
Moore will reportedly join the rest of the group — vocalist Phil Mogg, bassist Pete Way, keyboardist Paul Raymond and
drummer Jason Bonham — at an undisclosed studio before the end of the year
to begin work on the band's next album, tentatively due next summer.
UFO were previously in talks with former EUROPE/DOKKEN guitarist John Norum to replace Schenker after his departure
earlier this year but eventually decided to look elsewhere while Norum continued work on his upcoming solo album."

NEWSFLASH - MONDAY 12th FEBRUARY 2007
As posted on the Official UFO website
We are very sorry to announce that last Wednesday ANDY PARKER broke his ankle by slipping on a wet floor.
After two hospital appointments Andy had surgery today and now has a plate and some screws in his ankle.
Needless to say, he won't be ready to play the UFO tour in March. We are all very upset about this.
After much discussion between Andy and the other bandmembers the decision was taken
to go ahead with the tour and play the March dates with a replacement drummer.
Our good friend Simon Wright (Dio, ex AC/DC) was kind enough to step in immediately - thanks mate!
