Review from Vegas Show

The route: Mexico City - Chihuahua - El Paso TX - Las Vegas NV

Traveled all the way from Mexico City to Las Vegas, just to see UFO. My brother, a 39 year old fan since the early 80's, and me, 30 and fan since I was 12, warmed up for the concert in a twelve hour road trip from El Paso to Vegas. When we get to the Boulder Station, picked up the tickets and bought a pair of t-shirts, we already knew this gig would become the best of our lives.

Excellent seats at the seventh row in a small but functional Railhead, a couple of beers and the best band of the world. No more presentations than the classic 'Would you please welcome from England....UFO', and so it began. Was like a dream come true.

When Mother Mary started to sound my brother, I and the whole crowd stood up from our seats just to never seat again. The next one was Long Gone, just couldn't believe it. Before they followed with Hard Being Me, Phil welcomed us, raised his beer and said 'Cheers'. Then they performed This Kids, Only You Can Rock Me, Baby Blue and Too Hot To Handle. The band did a great job: Andy impressive, Phil admirable, Paul fabulous, Vinnie masterful and Rob superb, filling Pete’s spot. We really missed you Pete, hope to see you on the next tour!!!

Then came the song I was waiting for: Ain't No Baby. The excitement was at it’s high and there was more waiting. Lights Out, Love To Love and an impressive Rock Bottom, where Vinnie performed a great solo accompanied by Paul, Rob and a grey-haired-but-playing-like-a-teen Andy.

At the encore the people started to yell “UFO, UFO, UFO…”, was so emotive for me. So they came back and closed the show with Doctor Doctor and Shoot Shoot.

I was satisfied, but really expected to hear Pushed To The Limit, Heavenly Body and Let It Roll, which were cut because a matter of time.

After the show the guys spent some time with the fans. CAN’T BELIEVE NOBODY HAD A CAMERA BUT ME!!!

So at the end, it was a whole included concert: the best band in the planet, great songs, autographs and photos.
