This radio interview has taken me quite some time to track down. I first heard about it through the
Rock N Roll Universe's Forum:

BUT by the time I had read this, the interview was 'Long Gone' :-)
After a lot of time spent trawling the web, to no avail, I contacted the Radio Station direct for a possible transcript. Jon Bridge, the shows Senior Producer, replied immediately explaining that they didn't have a transcript but could provide the actual interview in mp3 format which he kindly attached to the e-mail.

This interview with Vinnie touches on the following points:

Interviewers favourite rock band ever, Happy Birthday to Vinnie, Talked about the UFO fans and how Vinnie is actually one of the biggest fans, having growing up listening to the band. What its like to be on tour. Touched on Pete Way's ban from USA, How the fans have reacted and how this effects the tour. Vinnie was asked about his relationship with Michael Schenker - See Photo below. Fans expectations on how Vinnie would play the classic songs and how 'This Kids', 'Too Hot to Handle', 'Rock Bottom' and 'Lights Out' are VM's favourite tunes. How the two UFO albums stand up against the older ones. Audiences differ in Europe - Germany and UK, Russia and the USA. Vinnie's impact on UFO in recent years and his personal relationship with the other band members - real friendship within. Andy Parkers return to UFO - making this a great line-up, How the songs have evolved over the years. New songs added in the set list and finally Pete's stage antics.
Overall a real positive interview, an insight within the band, all an enjoyable listen. Tris
